Unfortunately we are unable to offer the Pelvic Scan service at our clinic. Booking has been paused for the foreseeable future.
Pelvic Scan
This gynaecological scan provides a detailed examination of the uterus, endometrium, and ovaries.
The images of the scan and a medical ultrasound report written by our sonographer will be e-mail to you on the day of the scan. One of our female sonographers will perform the scan which will be a transvaginal (internal) scan, this is to ensure optimal clarity of images to get the most accurate scan. Please note that if an internal scan is not an option for any reason, we can perform a transabdominal scan instead, but this may not be as accurate as a transvaginal scan. If we find any potential problems, we will refer you for further assessment and diagnosis if needed.
No special preparation is required as this will be a transvaginal scan, however, if you cannot have a transvaginal scan please come with a full bladder.
We follow strict cleaning procedures in between each patients’ visit.

- Heavy and / or painful periods

- Assessment before fertility treatment
- Post-menopausal bleeding
