Being 100% transparent on babyvue.co.uk...
We do set one session to your browser (called "popUP" with the value of "shown") so you are not annoyed by a pop-up on every page you visit. This just gets set when you see the pop-up for the first time then the code is deleted when you close the browser tab. This session is only used to hide the pop-up on visiting different pages on our website and is just strictly neccessary for the correct functioning of our website.
We do use an analytics tool on our website but it's the privacy-first software Simple Analytics. This analytics software only gives us insight about our visitors in general, but not about individuals, as it does not track visitors and does not store any personal identifiable information. For more information please see Simple Analytics' documentation to find out what Simple Analytics collects (and most importantly what they don’t).
We do embed Youtube videos on our website to provide you, as users, with information about our services and therefore is necessary for the correct functioning of our website, however, we use the Privacy-Enhanced Mode of the embed using www.youtube-nocookie.com. For more information please see Youtube's help page.
We do use Meta Advertising but do not use the Meta Pixel tracking code on our website.
We do use Google Ads but do not use the Google Ads tracking code, Google Analytics tracking code, or Google Tag Manager code on our website.
We do use UTM Codes to help us identify sources of website traffic. UTM Codes don't store any IP addresses or any other personal identifiable information.
